A Master of Science graduate from Duquesne University; Kecia Chantel is an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Case Manager who serves as a care coordinator for inpatient rehabilitation facilities along the entire eastern United States.
Juggling a career while growing a blossoming business isn’t easy, but Kecia Chantel manages to do it with style and grace. In 2014, she began creating beautiful, hand-crafted beaded jewelry and accessories as a hobby. Currently, Zuri Beads is the first, Pittsburgh-based jewelry company that offers premier monthly subscription programming to enthusiasts who thoroughly enjoy collecting and adorning exclusive beaded bracelets. Her passion, drive and innovative marketing strategies earned her a business of the year award from the Circles: Startup to Storefront Catapult program. Kecia Chantel is also a published author and business startup coach. Kecia’s life mission is to empower and pour positivity into women of color by narrowing the gap between motherhood and entrepreneurship. She aspires to develop a nonprofit organization for women persevering through domestic violence. She is the devoted and proud mother to two boys, Gregory and Princeton Reese. |
