PART I: YOU ARE THE MVP |
Laying the foundation
During Part I, participants have the opportunity to build personal, mission, and vision statements and develop plans to begin to redefine and implement success for themselves and their families. We firmly believe that self advocacy starts with self-care and we lay the groundwork for both during Part I. |
PART II: YOUR COMMUNITY, YOUR CAUSE |
In Part II, participants take a deep dive into their communities. Who lives in their community? What are their needs? How can the stories of these community members drive change?
We believe it is important to understand the power of community, social capital and know who key stakeholders are and explore these concepts in Part II. |
PART III: YOU BE THE CHANGE |
Bringing it all together
During Part III, participants compile their findings and begin to focus on the 5 M's: mission, message, mobilization, movement and money All participants are supported through the development of their plans for change. They also have the opportunity to pitch their ideas and plans to win financial support and funding at our annual Pitch Party. |
