Samra Halchak

​Samra Halchak graduated from DeVry University in 2008 with a degree in Business, and has more than fifteen years of experience in Operations Management, Continuous Improvement and Project Management.  She started her career at Rolls-Royce Energy Systems in Oil & Gas, working in various roles from 2005 until 2011.  During her tenure at Rolls-Royce, Samra was the first female to ever be placed into an Operations Manager role as well as a Project Execution role, both construction / field positions.

In 2011, Samra relocated from Houston, Texas to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a position with the Elliott Company, a turbomachinery manufacturer.  This role allowed her and her son, Garrett to be closer to her family.  In 2015, Samra was promoted to a Commercial Proposal Manager, a role in which she was solely responsible for the Non-Disclosure Agreements, Contract Negotiations and Contract Executions between Elliott and Siemens.  Samra departed from Elliott in 2018.
Samra is currently employed as a Business Process Consultant at UPMC Health Plan where she is supports project management and continuous improvement initiatives within Member Services. In 2020, she was a recipient of the SuperStar award for her their continued partnership and ongoing collaboration with the Quality Assurance & Operational Integrity Department.  In her free time, Samra loves to spend time with her family, her dog and three cats.  She also enjoys reading on her back porch, and watching the sunset over the mountains.

Samra currently resides in the Morgantown, WV area with her husband, and three children, Luke, Harlan & Jaxson
